It all started with an act of kindness: when Jennifer was given the personal gift of a branding cover-up, it sparked the inspiration to start an organization to pass it on. She used her story and experiences to not only spread awareness and open people’s eyes to the world of human trafficking, but to raise money and help survivors along their journey of recovery. She understood on a personal level what it was like to look in the mirror or down at her skin and be reminded of a violent past. She knew she could reach and encourage a survivor a world away with a single cover-up tattoo.
It was her dream to help survivors everywhere, and we believe that with your help, it can become a reality. We are asking everyone to help us continue her legacy. Between the date of Jennifer’s birthday, April 20th and the first anniversary of her passing, May 18th, spread the word about our organization, encourage your tattoo artists friends to apply as providers, spread awareness, hold a fundraiser, order and wear our Survivor Swag, or simply donate to support our global initiatives. Together, we can ensure that Jennifer will continue to help survivors for many years to come.
